It is better than 4xMSAA anyway and has a much lower performance hit.Today some one request us to upload Max Payne 3 Game Full Version. It seems like MSAA is broken or less effective than it should be in this game and my advice would be to just use FXAA=Very High and forgo MSAA altogether. Copy all the files from the extracted folder to your Max Payne 3 installation. Extract the rar file using WinRAR or any other software that can handle rar files. The one with only FXAA has much better anti-aliasing. Steps to Crack Max Payne 3 1.0.0.17 with THETA. Unfortunately the downsampling has made the jaggies less obvious but you can see the aliasing on Max Payne and the sofa in the pictures with 4xMSAA applied. This is 0xMSAA + FXAA=Very High (1920x1200 original size, downsampled to 1600x1000): I was actually able to take some screenshots showing how MSAA is broken when FXAA is enabled. Then install the required game updates found in the CrackUpdates dir on DVD4 (Launcher, Social Club, MP3 main game). The framerate counter seems borked though in Afterburner as I was seeing 120 fps in the FMV cutscenes and 190-220 fps in the game when it was obvious it was running at 60 fps as v-sync was enabled and there was no tearing at all. When it tries to get updates after install, abort. This crack allows the use of FRAPS and Afterburner in the retail disc version which otherwise don't work. I managed to find a NoDVD crack that allowed me to take some screenshots too though I've now reverted back to the original files. Re: Max Payne 3 +12 SteamVersion 1.0.0.255 Post by gunlinux Fri 8:13 am Hello, i am max payne 3 speedrunner, trying to get velosity or max payne speed variable, to create speedometer, got some value but it feels strange, doesnt work on walk sections, and got strange results on moving back, shootdodge back or falling down. Very slick game really, shame about the install gaffs for the non-Steam version though. Animation is also vastly superior to the previous games and the slo-mo kills never get stale plus the kill-cam angles are cool. There's a commendable level of detail and almost everything is destructible. The graphics are actually very impressive, something I've grown to realise the further I get into the game. WRITTEN FOR THE ORIGINAL (1.0.0.17) STEAM VERSION OF THE GAME. Painkillers, Super Jump, Save/Load Position (Teleport). Max Payne 3 Trainer, Save, Editor PC Home. It's heavily scripted but awesomely cinematic and now I'm using FXAA on Very High only and have disabled MSAA the jaggies are no longer an eyesore. Best place with Max Payne 3 trainer, save, editor and solutions of the world. I'm on Chapter IV Part 1 (which fans of the original games will appreciate) and I'm really enjoying this game now. ![]()

![]() How distractions impact the serial position effectĬognitive scientists Murray Glanzer and Anita Cunitz (1966) conducted tests to investigate whether distractions have an impact on the primacy and recency effect. That way, visitors are more likely to follow the user path you’ve created, develop trust, and make proactive decisions to achieve their goals. ![]() The information or navigational elements you present first should always be useful and to the point. If we’re presented with an idea that seems sound and subsequent information supports it, our minds are primed to accept this information as a solid frame of reference.įrom a design standpoint, leveraging the primacy effect and anchoring bias can increase conversions. Another factor is the credibility of the initial information. As a result, we rely too heavily on the first information in forming an opinion and neglect subsequent details that could be just as helpful.Īnchoring bias occurs partly because people want to make choices faster, especially low-stakes decisions. An anchoring bias is the tendency to make judgments and evaluations based on the initial information we receive about a subject. Our habit of remembering the beginning of a list relates to another cognitive bias: the anchoring effect. For example, when someone gives you their phone number, you’re much less likely to remember it if they rush through rather than say each number slowly. Note: the primacy effect lessens when we present information at a rapid pace. In other words, each new addition makes it harder to remember the sequence. As we receive more information and must recall subsequent items alongside the preceding ones, each new item requires more cognitive effort. Retaining the earliest information requires relatively little cognitive effort.
![]() ![]() While 24 centimetres longer than the Evoque, but still shorter overall compared to competitors like the Audi Q5 and BMW X3, it’s a better proportioned and usefully sized Evoque for people who have families and stuff to lug. The Discovery Sport was the product of that pondering. That got Land Rover – now owned by India’s Tata – thinking about a roomier version. The Evoque’s taut, sleek profile garnered a lot of attention from buyers, winning new sales for Landie’s entry-level ute by sacrificing back-seat comfort and cargo space in the name of fashion. Owners reported faulty transmissions and air conditioners, failed turbochargers and electrical snafus. The Evoque was impressive – it was anointed North American Truck of the Year – but old habits die hard. The all-new 2012 Evoque made use of a front-drive Ford platform that underpinned the Focus and various Volvos, which explained the presence of a direct-injection 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo under the hood, an EcoBoost variant. The air conditioner broke regularly and, to add insult to injury, the fan sometimes spit water at occupants. ![]() ![]() Its unibody Freelander compact, imported here in 2002, was a dud thanks to faulty head gaskets that allowed vast quantities of coolant to disappear, and an automatic transmission that was notorious for checking out early. There’s no question Land Rover wrote the book on utility – English farmers used its early 4x4 models to plow their fields – but it didn’t always know how to add “sport” to the SUV equation. ![]() ![]()
![]() ![]() In the 17th century, a new window development arrived: vertical sliding sash. Muntins were thick (at least an inch wide), giving colonial windows a solid presence.ĭouble-hung twelve-over-twelve windows are a hallmark of Georgian houses. Given the expense of glass, windows were kept small. The frames were made of either wood or iron, and featured diamond-shaped leaded panes or rectangular ones. It was created by spinning a bubble of molten glass until it was flat, a technique that resulted in a bull’s eye (or “crown”).Ĭolonial windows were typically casements-sash that rotated out on hinges-and often were paired with wood or brick mullions separating the sashes. Crown glass, one of the earliest types of glass available, had existed for centuries, but only started being made in England in the late 17th century and later trickled down to the colonies. Glass in the New World was mostly imported from England and very costly. Materials for windows weren’t always so readily available. And beyond appearance, of course, windows also provide light, fresh air, and a connection to the outdoors. It doesn’t work, does it? The right style of window on a historic home can make or break the exterior. Try envisioning the long, horizontal louvers of a jalousie window on a Federal home instead of delicate, multi-paned, double-hung sash. However, windows are actually a vital element in the overall look and architectural character of any building, especially old houses. Today’s modern skylines dotted with shimmering towers of glass make windows seem like nothing more than visual voids on a façade. Find the Right Window Grids for Your Home Window grilles will cast shadows in your home, and whether that’s a good or bad thing is up to you. The other advantage is that it allows for more unobstructed light. That makes it easy to keep them looking spotless. Rather than having to wipe dust out of window grilles and clean each pane individually, you only need to wipe down one rag. One of the greatest benefits of modern windows is that they’re easier to clean. Also called modern windows, the gridless look is becoming increasingly popular. While window grids can add an attractive visual element to your home, many people prefer doing away with them completely. They’re a great way to add a dynamic visual element to your windows to give your home some extra character. Diamondĭiamond windows are similar to grid-style window grilles but turned 45 degrees, so the grilles run diagonally. There are also three-over-one styles for a slightly different twist. Two-over-one window grilles are just what they sound like - two window panes over a single window pane, using a single grille on the upper half of the window. They’re a great way to highlight a natural landscape. This type has grilles that run a few inches from the perimeter of the window, creating a kind of frame. Prairie window grilles are the perfect choice for anyone who likes a more traditional design. Their design is characterized by a single horizontal grille divided by two vertical grilles. They’re the style you probably think of first when you imagine multi-pane windows. If you’re going for a homey, down-to-earth look, colonial window grids may be what you’re looking for. If you’re not sure what style will best fit your home, take a look at these options. There’s a wide range of window grid patterns out there, from the very simple to the ornate and complex. However, whether you include them in your home is totally up to you. Today, glass can be produced in larger, stronger panes, rendering structural window grids unnecessary. They were necessary because larger panes of glass were difficult to produce. ![]() While you probably know that window grids can make a dramatic visual impact, did you know they used to serve a practical purpose? Their original function was to hold together multi-pane windows, creating a surface that would keep out the weather. Learn more about the original use of window grids and how their role in the home has changed over the years. That’s why it’s important to choose the grids that serve your needs best. How you archive your sheets (binders? envelopes?).If you’re interested in some swanky pre-printed pads at all, and….I haven’t had much feedback at all from real users about the Emergent Task Planner, so this is your chance to let me know: It was suggested to me that I look into producing tear-off pads with the glue at the top for shipping reasons you apparently can qualify for media-rate shipping that way. Sticking with one or two colors would be cheaper still, but that isn’t very sexy.ĪDDITION 5/13: The reason I’m thinking process color is because this opens up the use of more interesting imagery! QUESTIONS FOR ETP USERS Or, it may be that with a high-enough resolution, process color will be able to deliver the quality I want and will be cheaper. The question is really whether I should drop the blue plate, or change the orange time boxes for a variation of blue-green. Then I might use a green plate and use tints for that. For example, I’d like to use a base gray plate instead of pure black this will give me better solid grays. I’ve kept the idea of using 3 or 4 plates in the back of my mind, and they’ll might be custom rather than process color. It’s been over 10 years since I’ve had to have anything printed on anything, and we certainly didn’t have the cool high-resolution digital presses that are available now, so I’m looking forward to finding out what’s possible. Because I’m using small colored type, I have to be careful about the number of colors I use in the design so the screen frequency doesn’t cause the letters to break up and look terrible. Personally, I never used it it was a feature I introduced because one person requested it and I haven’t heard back whether it was that useful or not.īecause this design will be printed on a real press, I am starting to introduce color sparingly into the design. I also got rid of the “hours” summary box because I needed the space lost from making room for three ring binder holes on the left-hand side of the paper. Because of this, I decided to swap the left and right sides the major tasks + note area is now on the left. Notes I would scribble on whatever space was leftover. ![]() Finally, I’d draw a simple schedule on the right hand side. Interestingly, I tended to draw the ETP in order of my thinking: first, I’d fill out the date, then I’d enter the list of things I needed to do. I brought a notebook with me to scribble in, and I found myself naturally working with the Emergent Task Planner layout. NEW DIRECTIONSįor the past couple months I’ve been going to a coffee shop every day to do my daily planning. If you’re not familiar with the Emergent Task Planner, the 2007 Updates post will give you some background. I’ve already incorporated some feedback into this layout, but there are also a few new things that are worth going over. The purpose of this post is to get a bit of feedback from the public on the new design. Don’t worry, though! There will always be versions available for download. Because this is a product test, I won’t be making this specific version of the Emergent Task Planner available for PDF download right away it’s going to be tweaked for whatever press process I end up using anyway. The goal is to look into producing and selling nicely-printed ETP pads, to see if people find the cost and convenience worth paying for. The Emergent Task Planner is, based on the number of links it seems to get, one of the more popular Printable CEO™ forms, so this seems like a good design to create a physical product from. I’ve actually ended up with a new design. Last week I promised myself that I would get off my ass and get a version of the Emergent Task Planner ready to price out at a printer. ![]() ![]() All in all, we found the platform very easy to use when we reviewed it, but we found that logos could be generic, with few options for customisation. There are waist cinchers out there with zip fastenings. They often have 2 or more columns of hooks and eyes, so that you can wear your waist cincher TIGHT or REALLY TIGHT! These allow you to work them on so that you get a super tight, cinched in waist. Most waist cinchers are made with a line of really strong hook and eye fastenings running down the front. Your waist cincher should fit VERY TIGHTLY in order for them to really work. Waist cinchers are a very wide band of material (often latex or rubber) with boning (either plastic or steel) that you wrap around your waist and secure down the front. And it is not advisable to be planning on eating a banquet whilst wearing one. They may make you hot, they might be a bit uncomfortable.
